Volunteer with REACH
Your Time Can Make a Difference.
You don't need special skills or experience to make an impact. Just show up ready to lend a hand!
Our monthly sandwich making events bring people together to prepare meals for North Texas neighbors experiencing food insecurity.
Whether you're volunteering on your own, with friends and family, or alongside coworkers, there's a place for you at REACH.

A Little Time. A Lot of Impact.
Volunteers gather on the second Saturday of every month to prepare sandwiches and assemble meals for distribution through local charitable organizations like Mission Arlington.
The event begins prompty at 9:00 AM so we ask you arrive about 10 minutes early. Mission Arlington picks up sandwiches, chips and cookie donations around 10:30–11:00 AM.
It's a fun, hands-on way to meet new people, give back to your community, and see the difference we can make by working together.
Bring What You Can. Give What You Can.
We encourage volunteers to bring sandwich-making supplies if possible. These contributions help us prepare more meals and make every event a success.
If you're planning to bring supplies, we suggest enough to prepare approximately 60 sandwiches. Any contribution is appreciated!
Suggested Supplies:
- Sandwich bread
- Sandwich meat
- Sliced cheese (please do not bring individually wrapped cheese slices as it slows down the assembly line)
Needed, but not Required Supplies:
- Ziploc sandwich bags
- Yellow Mustard
- Single serve bags of chips
- Cookies
- Grocery bags
Can't bring supplies? Come anyway! Your time and willingness to help are just as valuable. We always welcome an extra set of hands to assemble sandwiches, organize supplies, and prepare meals for distribution.
Everyone has something to contribute, and every helping hand matters.
